Stating in 2015, The “CCNN Live Summer Institute” paved the way for Charlie Villa to get to where he is today. During his high school career, he was able to be a part of teams that competed in the Student Television Network, the Florida Scholastic Press Association, and the Suncoast Student Emmys.
Here is where he found my people; being in an environment with fellow creatives is where he thrived. Throughout the years, he kept going back, and content creation became the highlight of his world. To such an extent that he went to college and decided to pursue a degree in this field.
Within his first two months of being at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), he was the head of content creation for my brand, Charlie’s Album, and for the Number Nine Design Lab, a SCAD-sponsored fashion lab.
This was not the end, however. He continued on and took photos of events all across campus and the city. Word got around, and he ended up working in collaboration with the university’s founder, Paula Wallace, to cover events such as the opening of their new photography building, Graham Scott. This not only created great opportunities moving forward, but the more he went on, the more he realized that this was his calling. Working for SCAD Sports Information only furthered his passion at that point for broadcast and content creation.
Today, Charlie’s Album continues to service clients across the country from Miami, Florida all the way to Seattle, Washington.
